The Saturn Team Project™
Just as individuals have callings, so do teams. Whether your team is a church, campus ministry, or something else, you have a calling that is very specific and important. Often teams run into two common roadblocks. First, they find that their calling is unclear or that they are lacking a vision. Second, they lose the ability to function cohesively enough to pursue and accomplish their callings.
Created for Good™ can help in both of these areas. For ministry teams, I have developed The Saturn Team Project™. In truth, it is not my model at all, rather it is one taken from the pages of Scripture.

Clarifying Vision & Mission
To better understand this project, imagine the planet Saturn with its central core. The rings, on the other hand, are directional emanating from the core and moving out. Every ministry team needs a solid core or vision (the planet) that consists of a clearly stated identity securely anchored to the three essentials of ministry. In the same way, every team needs a clear direction or mission (the rings) that consists of a proper starting point and a clear trajectory. With these two properly set, your team is ready to launch their mission into the communities and world around them.
Anchoring the Vision
Though teams may be full of passion, energy, creativity, purpose, and joy, they often struggle with ineffectiveness, frequently changing strategies, disappointment, and disillusionment because they are not securely anchored to a solid vision. Through the Saturn Team Project™, your team will discover three essentials based on a Biblical model of ministry that is taught and illustrated throughout Scripture.
Launching the Mission
Missions are often launched that inspire the imagination, build momentum, and accomplish some of their goals. But if these goals are not built on the trajectory outlined by Christ, even their accomplishment is failure. When teams discover that their great sacrifice has produced little, if any, eternal gain, disillusionment often causes the vision to unravel and teams to become incohesive and ineffective. The Saturn Team Project™ helps to set the trajectory outlined by Christ for a lifetime of healthy ministry.
Improving Team Function
What happens when teams are plagued by misunderstood motives and intentions, failure to communicate with thought and care, or conflict that festers without resolution?
Has your team lost its cohesiveness? Created for Good™ works with your team to discover each member’s value and hidden strengths in order to contribute to the productivity and success of the whole. This builds strength within team relationships.
Does your team suffer with misunderstandings, monopolized conversations, or a lack of trust? Created for Good™ equips your team with communication skills that help others know they are heard and understood. This builds necessary confidence for a strong team.
When conflict arises, does your team handle it healthily, or do they begin to question motivations and intentions? Conflict often shifts the focus from goals to rumors, manipulation, and positioning. Created for Good™ coaches your team to work through conflict to restoration, preserving its vision, purpose, and calling in the process.
